Something To Drink About Lyrics

I like to have fun, I never bother no one
I just drink at the bar everyday
But she got enough of the things that I love
And she just walked awayShe made it plain when she threw down the ring
Said, "If you like the honky tonk crowd
I'll see you later and I'm gonna give you
Somethin' you can drink about"She said, "You'll start drinkin' double
To drown all your troubles somewhere in a crazy ol' bar
You'll have more than one tear floatin' in your beer
When I get through breakin' your heart"She said, "If you like the night life
More than a good wife, keep on hangin' out
I'll leave a memory, no doubt
That makes you wanna pass out
I'll give you somethin' to drink about"You'll find me in here, drinkin' my beer
Orderin' up the next round
Can't let my friend see what she's doin' to me
Darn poor thing didn't know that I'm downSometimes I start thinkin' why am I drinkin'
I'll be better off at the house

But I'm not goin' home, I'd only be there alone
With somethin' to drink aboutShe said, "You'll start drinkin' double
To drown all your troubles somewhere in a crazy ol' bar
You'll have more than one tear floatin' in your beer
When I get through breakin' your heart"She said, "If you like the night life
More than a good wife, keep on hangin' out
I'll leave a memory, no doubt
That makes you wanna pass out
I'll give you somethin' to drink about"She said, "If you like the night life
More than a good wife, keep on hangin' out
I'll leave a memory, no doubt
That makes you wanna pass out
I'll give you somethin' to drink about""I'll leave a memory, no doubt
That makes you wanna pass out
I'll give you somethin' to drink about"
