Something Your Heart Has Been Telling Me Lyrics

Last night
I heard you calling
I heard you calling out a name I did not know
Woke up
and tears were falling
Yes, tears were falling all around
my bed of woe
Here's the situation
Right before my eyes I can't ignore
Your new infatuation
and I knew it long before
There is something your heart has been telling me
And it's something I already know
You're a man who conceals
All the things that he feels
and won't let go, even though
there's a love burning inside of you
With a flame so strong and so brightBut I know you so well

I just had to tell you tonightToday the day is dawning
You sit in silence in the half light of the room
Outside the sun is shining
I keep on smiling
Trying hard to pierce the gloom
Here's the situationRight before my eyes I can't ignore
Your new infatuation
but I knew it long before
There is something your heart has been telling me
But it's something I already know
You're a man who conceals
All the things that he feelsand won't let go, even though
there's a love burning inside of you
With a pain so strong and so bright
But I know you so well
I just had to tell you tonightOhhhhhh
Think of the lives that we have lived
and of the times we've had
Let's give our love half a chance
and we will be alrightOh, there's something my heart has been telling me
But it's something I already know
Why try to conceal
All the things that you feel
and not let go, even though
there's a love burning inside of me
With a flame so far and so bright
I love you so well
I just had to tell you tonight (tonight)
Tell you tonight (tonight)
And it's something I already know
You can see all the things you feel
and won't let go even though...
