Sometimes I Make You Sad Lyrics

Shut out the world you can do it
Then let me climb inside
There's only one way you can do it
Just let your mind unwindSo to the world I say "Hello!"
But the people don't care
There's nothing out thereOnce there was a boy
Spent days all alone
In a rowing boat
Living in Rome
Set sail for the sea
Get back on this song
Get back onYoung love we'll have to through it
Sometimes I make you sad
Stamp out the beat so you can do it
It's like the world we shareAnd when the curtain falls on you
The people don't care
'Cause nothing out thereLa la la la la laAnd not a word I've said is true
But the people don't care

'Cause there's nothing out there
Don't you know!

The band consisted of brothers Gaz (guitar and lead vocals) and Rob Coombes (keyboards), Mick Quinn (bass and backing vocals) and Danny Goffey (drums and backing vocals). In summer 1994 they released their first single Caught By The Fuzz which had Strange Ones on the B side, on a small local record label called Backbeat, run by Makating bass guitarist Dave Norland from his bedroom in a house in the Cowley Road area of Oxford.
