Somewhere In China Lyrics

She lived somewhere in China
I’ll think that I’ll go out and find her
Just to see if there is a better world for me
Sailing down the Yangtze Yang in a bright red and blue sampan
I know the only way to cover it is real slow
But I’d rather go much faster
To meet a girl to New York City
In an aeroplane that I’d meant to flown
Of bright green wings
I know it’s so much colder now than it’s ever been before
I never ever seem to hear you laughing now
Come and sit beside me here and we watch the fire go down
And dream of days and nights when we were young
Time seems to go much faster
Living in the cold out city

But we can still pretend to having fun…having fun
She lived somewhere in China
I’ll think that I’ll go out and find her
Just to see if there is a better world for me
