Song For Dying Lyrics

Two of them watched in the dawn's early light
And two of them died in the morning
Search not your soul if you want to be right
But two of them died in the morningIt's not for you, we cry
No, not for those who die
It is only for their sons
Forget the lives of others who are goneTwo and by two in the dawn's early light
All went to die in the morning
Search not your souls for the truth and the right
For all went to die in the morning lightIt's not for you we cry, no, not for those who die
It is only for their sons
Forget the lives of others who are gone
Forget the lives of others who are gone
Forget the lives of others who are goneIt's not for you we cry, no, not for those who die
It is only for their sons
Forget the lives of others who are gone
Forget the lives of others who are goneForget the lives of others who are gone
Forget the lives of others who are gone

Forget the lives of others who are goneForget the lives of others who are gone
Forget the lives of others who are gone
Forget the lives of others who are gone

Barclay James Harvest are an English progressive rock band. They were founded in Saddleworth, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, in September 1966 by John Lees, Les Holroyd, Stuart "Woolly" Wolstenholme (1947–2010), and Mel Pritchard (1948–2004). They are best-known for their first four albums released in quick succession from 1970-1972. The Barclay James Harvest story begins in the early sixties in the Oldham area of North-West England. John Lees and Stuart “Woolly” Wolstenholme met at Oldham Art School, and formed a band called The Sorcerers, which evolved into The Keepers.
