Songs of Experience Lyrics

Look at your life
Who's shining on you?
You've got a lot of things going on
Open your mind
Can't you see what is new?
The world is changing
Are you moving on? Ah-haYou're like me (you're like me)
You can flip in a second (oh oh oh)
Step into rage what d'you reckon? (oh oh oh)
Serenade or use a weapon
You're like me (you're like me)
Your scars are like your badges (oh oh oh)
Climb up into these branches (oh oh oh)
I guess that's the way your life is
Ooh-ooh, how do you know these things?
She said 'ooh ooh, how do you know these things?'
Cause these are songs of experience baby
Songs of experience (oh oh oh)

Songs of experience baby (oh oh oh)Don't be afraid (don't be afraid)
Fear does you no good
It will take you for all you own
And look at those stars
Do they still shine on you?
The world is changing
It's a-moving on, Ah-ha
You're like me (you're like me)
You can flip in a second (oh oh oh)
Step into rage what d'you reckon (oh oh oh)
Serenade or choose a weapon
You're like me (you're like me)
Your scars are like your badges (oh oh oh)
Climb up into these branches (oh oh oh)
Tell me where I'm lackingOoh ooh, how do you know these things?
She said 'ooh ooh, how do you know these things?'
Cause these are songs of experience baby
Songs of experience (oh oh oh)
Songs of experience baby, oh oh oh-oh
Cause these are songs of experience baby (baby)
Oh-oh (all right)
Songs of experience baby (baby)
Songs of experience (all right)
These are songs of experience baby (baby)
Songs of experience
Songs of experience baby (baby)
(Oh my my my my my)
(Yeah, yeah)
(Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh)
