Sophia Lyrics

Yeah, I just wanna do you right
Show you all this love and mommy treat you right
Take me from the darkness into the light
I read you like a book Sophia treat me right
Yeah, I was in the desert
I was walking with the dead
I was lost and I found Sophia
On the Internet
Now it's on 'cause I'm tired of living
With the one percent
Now it's on cause I'm ready for that
Ninety nine percent
Come on
I just want to show you love
(Sophia)
Show you love, show you love
I just want to do you right
(Sophia)

Do you right, do you right
I just want to show you love
(Sophia)
Show you love, show you love
I just want to do you right, do you right, do you
Understand, understand
Yeah, you where always there for me
Even when, when they lied about my history
There we met Sophia in the University
High society says that she's too good for me
Listen, you can't keep us apart
Sophia stole my heart
What give you the right to keep us
All up in the dark Devil
She's not your girl, she's mine
Geometric so sublime
She's not your girl she's mine
Geometric so sublime
Show you all this love and mommy treat you right
Take me from the darkness into the light
I read you like a book Sophia treat me right
Yeah, I was in the desert
I was walking with the dead
I was lost and I found Sophia
On the Internet
Now it's on 'cause I'm tired of living
With the one percent
Now it's on cause I'm ready for that
Ninety nine percent
Come on
I just want to show you love
(Sophia)
Show you love, show you love
I just want to do you right
(Sophia)
Do you right, do you right
I just want to show you love
(Sophia)
Show you love, show you love
I just want to do you right, do you right, do you.
Understand
Come on baby take a walk with me
Down the cold dark center of the mystery
I'll break the code if you turn the key
Come on baby take a walk with me
Come on baby take a walk with me
Come on baby take a walk with me
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Ha, ha, ha, yeah, yeah, woo, ooh
Yeah, I just wanna do you right
Show you all this love and mommy treat you right
Take me from the darkness into the light
I read you like a book Sophia treat me right
Sophia take my hand
Without you, I'm half a man
I was blind now I can see
Look Sophia what you done to me
Look Sophia what you given me
I was in bondage now I'm free
Look Sophia what you done to me
I was in bondage, now I'm free
Yeah, I just want to show you love
(Sophia)
Show you love, show you love
I just want to do you right
(Sophia)
Do you right, do you right
I just want to show you love
(Sophia)
Show you love, show you love
I just want to do you right
Do you right, do you right
Come on, come on, come on
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I need it, I want it, can't live without it, no
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Hed P.E., previously known as (hed) Planet Earth and stylized as (həd) p.e. is a rapcore band from Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 1994, the band performs a style of music which they refer to as "G-punk". Their music is primarily based in a fusion of punk rock and hip hop, but they have also been known to incorporate elements of heavy metal, reggae and other genres. After releasing three albums on Jive Records, Hed PE left the label to record independently, eventually signing with Suburban Noize Records in 2006. To date, they have released seven studio albums, one live album and one compilation album.

The band was formed by rapper Jared Gomes, also known as "M.C.U.D." (MC Underdog), and guitarist Wes Geer, who became friends amidst the Orange County hardcore punk scene. Gomes and Geer recruited guitarist Chizad, bassist Mawk, drummer B.C. Vaught and DJ Product © 1969. They named the group "Hed", which stands for "higher thought". The band built a following with their energetic performances at local venues, and released the self-financed extended play, Church of Realities. Legal issues forced Hed to change their name, adding "PE", which stood for "Planet Earth".

Hed PE signed with Jive Records, releasing their self-titled debut album in 1997. In his review of the album, Allmusic's Steve Huey wrote that Hed PE "[are] rhythmically looser and funkier than many similar rap-metal bands, although comparisons to Rage Against the Machine are still apt. There are some slow and/or unfocused moments but overall, its aggression will probably play well with late-'90s metal and punk fans. "Due to the label's contractual terms and the disappointing sales of the album, the band found themselves unable to repay the cash advances given to them by Jive. Gomes is quoted as saying "We had these romantic visions of the music industry, and we thought it would be cool to be a punk band on a rap label. So we fulfilled that dream, but it was also probably the worst thing that could have happened. We've had offers from Sony and others that we can't take because we owe Jive so much money."
