Sorry Lyrics

Too many times
Girl I've swallowed my pride
Waiting for you to come home
When you finally arrive
Your eyes shining bright
There's the scent of some rich man's cologneFor the very last time
I hear you apologise
Girl you've pushed our love over the borderlineSorry, but sorry ain't good enough
We've compromised baby too many times
Sorry, but sorry ain't good enough
When you shutter a trust
Baby, sorry just ain't good enoughI remember when you weren't impressed by rich men
You didn't take life so seriously
Remember when making love
Swept us so high above
There were no minefields between you and meI can see him in your eyes
And I'm on fire inside
As I'm walking away

It me kills me to saySorry, but sorry ain't good enough
We've compromised baby too many times
Sorry, but sorry ain't good enough
When you shutter a trust
Baby, sorry just ain't good enoughHow your emerald eyes
Look away when you lie
I can't go through this again
Girl there comes a time whenSorry, but sorry ain't good enough
We've compromised baby too many times
Sorry, but sorry ain't good enough
When you shutter a trust
Baby, sorry just ain't good enough
