Soul Sick Lyrics

I guess he didn't feel that good today
He headed to the airport on his motorcycle
Said he liked the sound it made
And then he mumbled to me something about
Love and what it cost
He said, "If all the world is over
Then man, I would get lost if I were you
Now what would you do?"
I remember shades of summer
The winter sets and it's gone, yes
But it's all good now take it easy
Don't get soul sick
The winter sets and it's gone, yes
But it's all good now
I guess that we were all a shade of green
We catered to the postcard view
'Cause our lives weren't in half the bloom

Of his worst day
Then one by one the conversations
Got too long or just got old
And we were past the point of selling
We'd been living with the parts we hadn't sold
