Sound Of The Sun Lyrics

Your breath is scorched across my face
You can't bring me down
Your breath will never be the sameGo!And I don't know what's wrong with me
I wanted to be all the things you need
All the things you needAnd now I'm standing here alone
I'm waiting for it all to come and go
All to come and goMaybe I just have to let it go[Chorus:]
Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Bring it up, bring it up did you hear the sound of the sun
Rising from the ground
Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Bring it up, bring it up do you always wanna be the one
Running from yourselfYou!And nothing's ever as it seems
When all your dreams exist in memories
Exists in memoriesAnd all the trouble takes it's toll
I don't remember all the common goals
All the common goalsMaybe you just have to let me know[Chorus]Your breath is scorched across my face
You can't bring me down

Your breath will never be the sameGo! Go! Go!It's not you I'm afraid of
But I'm not scared of myself
You'll lie with or without me
You'll never need my helpMaybe I just have to let it go
I have to let it go[Chorus]

Silverstein is a 5-piece rock band from Burlington, Ontario, Canada; formed in 2000. The band name was taken from the famous children's author Shel Silverstein. After several lineup changes, the band acquired Billy Hamilton, a local fan who learned of the band's need for a bassist on the Internet message board "The 905 Board" (an Ontario area outreach board which used to be for local musicians). In Christmas of 2001, he joined the band after Shane Told helped him learn the music for the songs. Following a rehearsal on Boxing Day (December 26) in 2001, he officially debuted with Silverstein.
