Sound of Emotion (feat. Ron Boustead & Dave Koz) Lyrics

There’s a man with a saxophone in the tunnel to the Hollywood Bowl,
and I’ve heard his song before.
Melodies sweet and low reaches inside my soul
stop to hear him play one more.
And I don’t care if it makes me late. I have the feeling it’s worth the wait.
This man is saying something.
It’s the story of love and pain, harsh words, and the blinding rain…
Every note has the power to move, the power to heal.
And I can feel the
Sound of Emotion
carry me away,
remembering someone
from another time and place.
I hear the
Sound of Emotion,
it seems to be saying … “I love you”.

I can almost hear him call her name…
Another dollar inside his case; wipe the teardrops from my face and
Blend into the crowd
Find my way to the 14th row; settle back to watch the show.
Tonight, it seems too loud
In a moment I’m on my feet to hear the music underneath the street,
where someone is saying something.
And I can let the -
Sound of Emotion
carry me away,
remembering someone
from another time and place
I hear the Sound of Emotion,
It seems to be saying “I love you.”
I can almost hear him call your name.
(instrumental interlude)
And when he play,s opens up a place in my heart
That I thought I could forget
But it isn’t over yet.
I still hear the
Sound of Emotion carry me away,
…I can feel it …
(Sound of Emotion)
…I can almost hear him call your name …
(Sound of Emotion)
…seems to be saying I love you, love you, love you…
I hear the
(Sound of Emotion)
And everywhere I go I think of you.
Ohhhh ohhh ohhh ohhhh
(Sound of Emotion)
Reaches to my soul.
(Sound of Emotion)
Yeah
