Sperratus Lyrics

Look in my eyes
See the light of the universe
I'm man, born of God
Not a clown in disguiseMy skin is bronze, my hair is gold
The power within me lights the way
To wealth and fame
All in my name, the final goalShout it, shout it, shout it out loud
Sing it, sing it, sing to the crowd
Call out, call out, call out from afar
Make them, make them, make you superstarLook in my face, see the light
Of a thousand stars shine bright
In the night, as I step
From the stageDon't burn your hands on my skin
You can't touch what's deep within
That's my soul
Reaching my final goalShout it, shout it, shout it out loud
Sing it, sing it, sing to the crowd
Call out, call out, call out from afar

Make them, make them, make you superstar

Barclay James Harvest are an English progressive rock band. They were founded in Saddleworth, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, in September 1966 by John Lees, Les Holroyd, Stuart "Woolly" Wolstenholme (1947–2010), and Mel Pritchard (1948–2004). They are best-known for their first four albums released in quick succession from 1970-1972. The Barclay James Harvest story begins in the early sixties in the Oldham area of North-West England. John Lees and Stuart “Woolly” Wolstenholme met at Oldham Art School, and formed a band called The Sorcerers, which evolved into The Keepers.
