Spilling Over the Side Lyrics

Oh man, I can't believe the things I've said to you
Hey, I must have been out of my mind
Desperation crept in, from all the things I've kept in, I'm sorry
I just couldn't help myselfI can tell by the look in your eyes that you think I'm a fool
So right, too late to turn back now
I'm throwing these lines out, I'm throwing my line out
Open your bed and drag me in with youI go so low, and then I see
It's when I hit the bottom, I know for sure
It get's pathetic when you're lonely, you will do anythingI can't believe what I've become, the things I say and do
Loneliness will make you throw your sense away
Here I am, trying to get through
Here I am, feeling so small, I'm running my mouth at you
I'm feeling sleek like a stranger, I'm here but I know that I'm outta there
As close as I get is so far away
Am I coming off as crazy, my lack of pretense too intense?
Am I telling you more than you want to know?I go so low, and then I see
It's when I hit the bottom, I know for sure
It get's pathetic when you're lonely, you will do anything

I mean anything!I go so low, and then I see
It's when I hit the bottom, I know for sure
It get's pathetic when you're lonely, you will do anything
I mean anything!Oh man, I can't believe the things I've said to you
Hey, I must have been out of my mind, yeah!
Playing it hard on a Saturday night
I am walking down long dark streets
I am looking through the windows at good time shows
My loneliness, how it hurts, and how it shows
How it shows

Rollins Band was an alternative metal/post-hardcore band formed in 1987 in Van Nuys, California. Henry Rollins put the Rollins Band together, in Van Nuys, California, United States, after his previous band, the hardcore outfit Black Flag, broke up in 1986. "Borrowing" the rhythm section of former Black Flag guitarist Greg Ginn's experimental instrumental band, Gone, their sound is very similar to Black Flag's latter direction, playing aggressive rock with punk influences, beginning with their first release Life-Time in 1987.
