Stalemate Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Just pick one and make it all come through
Infiltrated and fucked up for years
And now it just suddenly turns to you in a second, in no time
Rise up, get up, stay up, fed up with the brand new sensation
I'll bring back what's mineNo, sense for sanity
No, sense for clarity
No, sense for dignity
Sense for dignityJust ask and it's coming straight to you overrated and blinded by fear
Inspiration turns to dust as you've had your share
Rise up, get up, stay up, fed up with your illumination

I'll take back what's mineNo, sense for sanity
No, sense for clarity
No, sense for dignityAnd I'll say
(Now give me your best shot)
Wait a lifetime to pull it off
And I'll say
(Is that all that you got?)
Wake up in no time to blow it offNo use for frustration, if you can't get through
And you think your pride will do to get to your spot
Rise up, get up, stay up, fed up with the brand new sensationNo, sense for sanity
No, sense for clarity
No, sense for dignity
Sense for dignity
Shut your mouth
No, sense for empathy
No
No, sense for sanity will stop you nowAnd I'll say
(Now give me your best shot)
Wait a lifetime to pull it off
And I'll say
(Is that all that you got?)
Wake up in no time to blow it offNow give me your best shot
Now give me your best shot
Now give me your best shot
Now give me your best shotJust pick one and make it all come through
Infiltrated and fucked up for years
And now it just suddenly turns to you in a second, in no time
Rise up, get up, stay up, fed up with the brand new sensation
Well I'll bring back what's mine, I'll take back what's mineNo, sense for sanity
No, sense for clarity
No, sense for dignity can shut your mouth
No, no, no, no
No, no, no

Soilwork is a swedish melodic death metal band formed in late 1995, originally under the name Inferior Breed in Helsingborg, Sweden. In 1996, they changed their name to Soilwork to better fit their new sound. Their unique sound is a fusion of the classic gothenburg metal sound with power-groove riffs of late 1970s, early 1980s British, and European metal, but in their most recent albums they have also introduced elements from American alternative metal and adopted a more melodic attitude.
