Stand 4 What U R Lyrics

Stand for what you are
Trust in what you're fighting for
No time on looking back
You're on your ownStand for what you are
Trust in what you're living for
Open up the door no time for looking back
You're on your ownYou say that time's been passing by
Feeling there is nothing concrete
Living for the moment
Blinded by your dreamsAll you're saying you can't hold on
It's getting harder every day
You can't change who you are
Something you gotta faceYou fell for promises
No one really ever made
Invisible pictures come trueGoing through changes
Hoping that they never fade
Hold on don't reach for the starsStand for what you are
Trust in what you're fighting for

No time on looking back
You're on your ownStand for what you are
Trust in what you're living for
Open up the door no time for looking back
You're on your own - on your ownCan't stop time's been passing by
It's like living on a one way street
Stop trying to escape from the real world
And hanging by your stringStill you're saying you can't hold on
It's getting harder every day
You should know what you are
You better find your own placeStand for what you are
Trust in what you're fighting for
No time on looking back
You're on your ownStand for what you are
Trust in what you're living for
Open up the door no time for looking back
You're on your own - on your ownYou gotta stand for what you are
Trust in what you're fighting for
No time on looking back
You're on your ownYou gotta stand for what you are
Trust in what you're fighting for
You gotta face it make it on your own
You gotta face it make it on your ownStand for what you are

They played an important role in the development of speed metal and Teutonic thrash metal, being part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene to emerge in the early to mid 1980s along with bands such as Helloween, Running Wild, Grave Digger, Sinner, and Rage. The band's 1983 album, Balls to the Wall, subsequently became their most successful release, featuring its well-known hit of the same title.
