Stand Up Lyrics

Some people stand by
While others stand tall
Some stand in the breech
Some stand behind the wall
Some stand and cheer
For a stick and a ball
Some stand for nothing at allWhat do you stand for?
Do you stand for the right?
Do you stand for justice
The truth and the light?
Do you stand up to honor
The true and the brave?
Do you stand for Old Glory?
Long may she wave
(Where do you stand?)
If you stand for freedom you must stand the price
(Where do you stand?)
If you stand for peace

Sometimes you got to stand and fight
(Where do you stand?)
If you stand for peace but will not stand for war
(Where do you stand?)
Then you stand for nothing worth fighting forWhat'll make you stand up?
What'll make you rise
With a cheer on your lips
And a tear in your eyes?
What forges your will
Not to budge one inch more?
What'll make you stand up?
(Stand up)
It's time to stand up
(Stand up)
You know you got to stand up
(Stand up)
Stand up for what you stand for(Where do you stand?)
If you stand for freedom, you got to stand the price
(Where do you stand?)
If you stand for peace sometimes you got to stand and fight
(Where do you stand?)
If you stand for peace but will not stand for war
(Where do you stand?)
Then you stand for nothing worth fighting forWhat'll make you stand up?
What'll make you rise
With a cheer on your lips
And a tear in your eyes?
What forges your Will
Not to budge one inch more? What'll make you stand up?
(Stand up)
It's time to stand up
(Stand up)
We've all got to stand up
(Stand up)
Stand up for what we stand for
(Stand up)
For what we stand for
(Stand up)We've got to stand up
