Star Sign Lyrics

Hey, there's a horseshoe on my door, big deal
And say, there's a black cat on the floor, big dealIf these things make your day
Well, if these things change your day
Well, do you know where you belong?
And is your star sign ever wrong? If these things change your day
Well, if these things make your day
Seen it all before, seen it all before
In a time these things will changeHey, there's a side of me unknown, big deal
And say, should this unknown force be shown, big dealIf these thoughts make your day
Well, if these thoughts change your day
Seen it all before, seen it all beforeGiven time these things will change
Seen it all before, seen it all before
Given time these things will changeIf these things change your day
Well, if this song makes your day
Seen it all before, seen it all beforeGiven time these things will change
Seen it all before, seen it all before
Given time these things will change

Teenage Fanclub are an indie rock band from Bellshill, Scotland near Glasgow, formed in 1989, and were formerly known as The Boy Hairdressers. They have two generally known humorous nicknames "The Fannies" and "The Bellshill Beach Boys"

Teenage Fanclub are revered for their devotion to chiming, Byrds-esque guitars and harmony vocals. Songwriting duties are shared between the three permanent members of the band, Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley, and Gerard Love.

In 2006, the band held two special concerts in London and Glasgow, playing their 1991 masterpiece Bandwagonesque in its entirety.

There have been a succession of drummers, including:

- Francis MacDonald (a prime-mover in the C86 scene, later of the BMX Bandits), the drummer in the original lineup, and in a later period
- Brendan O’Hare (later of Telstar Ponies, Thrapple , Mogwai and Macrocosmica)

and

- Paul Quinn (later of The Primary 5), who was later replaced by the returning Francis MacDonald.

Keyboardist Finlay MacDonald (no relation to Francis MacDonald) has also been a member.
