Stealin' Time Lyrics

Stealin time, Ive been stealin time
But I dont feel guilty 'cause the time was mine
I kept down low, kept down low
I walked right out, I had to let it goStealin time, Ive been stealin time
Forgot about everything and eased my mind
Stealin time, I was stealin time
But now I know, its time to cross that lineI watched the sky, watched the sky
Every day I let the world roll by
Sun and rain, sun and the rain
It felt so good to know that magic againStealin time, Ive been stealin time
Forgot about everything and eased my mind
Stealin time, I was stealin time
But now I know, its time to cross that lineWait my love, wait my love
Well soon be brighter than the sun up above
Wait and see, wait and see
Forget about everything except you and meStealin time, Ive been stealin time
Forgot about everything and eased my mind
Stealin time, I was stealin time

But now I know, its time to cross that lineRoll on, cross that line, been so long, stealin time
Roll on, cross that line, been so long, stealin time
Roll on, cross that line, been so long, stealin timeRoll on, cross that line, been so long, stealin time
Roll on, cross that line, been so long, stealin time
Roll on, cross that line, been so long, stealin time
Roll on

Gerald Rafferty (born April 16, 1947, in Paisley, UK and died 4 January 2011) was a Scottish singer and songwriter. In his early years, Gerry Rafferty earned money by the formerly illegal practice of busking on the London Underground. Poetically, his biggest hit "Baker Street" was about busking at a tube station. After working with Billy Connolly (now better known as a comedian) in a band known as The Humblebums, he recorded a first solo album, Can I Have My Money Back.
