Stella Lyrics

I wake up screaming at the moon
But Stella doesn't hear
I howl so loud it shakes the room
But it's like she wasn't there
The dream is repeating endlessly
With always the same cast and scenery
Life goes on
With one more song
Tell Stella I'm sorry (tell Stella)
And I promise I'll change my ways
You gotta tell it to Stella (tell Stella)
I'll change today
I just could not help myself
I was driven by the fire

My only wrong I rode too long
On A Streetcar Named Desire
But nothing can change the things I did
I just can't explain what went through my head
Life goes by
With one more cry
Tell Stella I'm sorry (tell Stella)
And I promise I'll change my ways
You gotta tell it to Stella (tell Stella)
I'll change today
Tell Stella I'm sorry (tell Stella)
And I promise I'll change my ways
You gotta tell it to Stella (tell Stella)
I'll change today
Stella
Oh, Stella
Tell Stella I'm sorry (tell Stella)
And I promise I'll change my ways
You gotta tell it to Stella (tell Stella)
I'll change today
Tell Stella I'm sorry (tell Stella)
And I promise I'll change my ways
You gotta tell it to Stella (tell Stella)
I'll change today
Tell Stella I'm sorry (tell Stella)
And I promise I'll change my ways
You gotta tell it to Stella (tell Stella)
I'll change today
Tell Stella I'm sorry (tell Stella)
And I promise I'll change my ways
You gotta tell it to Stella (tell Stella)
I'll change today

There is more than one group called the Tubes. 1) The Tubes are a San Francisco-based theater rock band, popular in the mid 1970s and early 1980s, known for their live performances that combined music performances with many different unique costumes and in some acts they wore leotards with painted on nipples and pubic hair (neither of which points are relevant for evaluating their artistic/musical/political relevance). They made satires of life in the USA; the media, consumerism, and politics. They were often banned in the Midwest USA.
