Stereo Child (Dead Poetic ) Lyrics

Your tradition, I'm getting so sick of creating
Your tradition, this music to please you
Your tradition, the way it used to be
Your tradition is the very thing that blinds youThat's why you can't see my God move
That's why you can't see my God move
That's why you can't see my God move
'Cause this is not then, and I'm not like youDamnation, tour excuse for good advice
Damnation, their mouths are wide, but you feed them lies
Reputation, you're full of indecency
Reputation, you are exactly the portrait they painted you to beStereochild, stereochild
Stereochild, stereochild
Stereochild, stereochild
Stereochild, stereochildThat's why you can't see my God move
That's why you can't see my God move
That's why you can't see my God move
'Cause this is not then, and I'm not like youYou refuse to speak, and they'll listen
You refuse to speak, and they'll listen
You refuse to speak, and they'll listen

You refuse to speak, and they'll listenBut I won't be predicted
I won't be your stereo
I won't be predicted
Never

Dead Poetic was a rock band hailing from Dayton, Ohio. The band first garnered attention in the underground music scene following the release of their first full-length Four Wall Blackmail which was released by Tooth & Nail subsidiary Solid State Records, and single "August Winterman." In the fall of 2004 personal disagreements within the band caused bassist Chad Shellabarger, drummer Josh Shellabarger, and guitarist Todd Osborn to all depart the band, and Dead Poetic appeared to be a thing of the past.
