Steve Lyrics

Walking in silence
The old woods are quiet
Nobody watching, just the trees.
Evening sky passes
Streams through the branches
Kiss me under the moonlight, won't you, Steve? She hurt you so bad, you told me you wanted to die.
Steve, I'm your best friend, there's nothing that I wouldn't try.Think what could happen,
Dare to imagine
So many possibilities.
We may discover that we could be lovers,
So kiss me under the moonlight, won't you, Steve?
She hurt you so bad, you told me you wanted to die.
Steve, I'm your best friend, there's nothing that I wouldn't try.She hurt you so bad, you told me you wanted to die.
Steve, I'm your best friend, there's nothing that I wouldn't try (Oooh).
Walking in silence
The old woods are quiet
Only your footsteps on the leaves.
Things will get better, try to forget her.

Kiss me under the moonlight, won't you, Steve?

To call Jeremy Messersmith a musician is half-truth: He’s also a storyteller, who has carefully crafted a trilogy of songs that narrate life. His first full-length release The Alcatraz Kid is a moving collection of acoustic-driven lullabies with titles like “Novocain” and “Beautiful Children” that innocently question the purpose of things to come. The integrity of these delicate songs immediately struck a chord with critics and fans alike, and captured the attention of Semisonic’s Dan Wilson, who offered to produce Messersmith’s follow-up album, The Silver City.
