Still Ghetto Lyrics

I'm living for today, I'm doin' shit my way
Still ghetto, still ghetto
Dangerous times in these ghetto streets
For peace of mind I gotta hold this heat
I'm still ghetto, ghetto baby ghettoI thank God that I'm still here
You know all my lost ones I share this prayer
Father God I pray yo holden' me down
Like an angel please keep um' aroundMy broken heart blood shed its tears
Left me alone and now this soul is full of darkness
Is this destiny was it meant to be
All my dreams are realityThis is all I know so this is life
So don't get cold like a rainy night
Album platinum, still I gotta fightBut don't go messin' with this girl
Just 'cause you give um doe
You can bet that ass nigga
I'm still ghetto for youI'm living for today, I'm doin' shit my way
Still ghetto, still ghetto
Dangerous times in these ghetto streets

For peace of mind I gotta hold this heat
I'm still ghetto, ghetto baby ghettoI respect the ghetto baby feel my pain
When I lost my mom's and pop's
I started havin' a sup
But I can't changeAnd the days seem long and the nights are cold
And all thats left is a picture frame of them
It's killing me softly like a dead man walking
But I'ma hold on, be strong, keep on doin' what I'm doin'Never thought I'd ever be this strong today
Still so much love for all the G's that paved the way
I'm sure gonna try best to learn and teach these young ones
Treasure now their world today, your what I'm livin' for todayI'm living for today, I'm doin' shit my way
Still ghetto, still ghetto
Dangerous times in these ghetto streets
For peace of mind I gotta hold this heat
I'm still ghetto, ghetto baby ghettoI'm living for today, I'm doin' shit my way
Still ghetto, still ghetto
Dangerous times in these ghetto streets
For peace of mind I gotta hold this heat
I'm still ghetto, ghetto baby ghettoMotherless child lost in the mix
Can't lie I love it when my ghosts blow me a kiss
Wish pops was here to school me more
So ghetto I don't even feel pain no moreCan't go wrong but it's a must I get it right
Callasthetics and water keep my shit tight
In and out of the system gave me power
I see death every time I take a showerPeanut butter no jelly, B but no celly
Been through it all what the fuck you gon' tell me
First time cookin' Cobax was oily
88' 89' Julie you spoil meThe ghetto boom me over see the block in me
Half ya that Gemini some she poppin' me
Same sign as my brothers we never get along
Some nights my niggas gonna keep us strongI'm living for today, I'm doin' shit my way
Still ghetto, still ghetto
Dangerous times in these ghetto streets
For peace of mind I gotta hold this heat
I'm still ghetto, ghetto baby ghettoI'm living for today, I'm doin' shit my way
Still ghetto, still ghetto
