Stop Lyrics

Small sacrifices or otherwise few
Unity for the sake of the many forms
Oh they use imagination only few can go
Touch of madness only few ever knowWell you can go on your way
Or you can stagger through hell
You can lie on your back
Or you can stand up tall
In a state of confusion
Got nothing to do
I was connected respected
Watching you make it throughAnd all this rhetoric
They tell me to sing along
They said that you were dying
But I know that they were wrongSecond generation melting pot
You're ripped apart but you're never done
There she goes
It's all right
Nothing to do

Waste your timeAnd all this rhetoric
They tell me to sing along
They said that you were dying
But I know that they were wrongWell you can go on your way
Or you can stagger through hell
Or you can lie on your back
Or you can stand up tallState of confusion
You got nothing to do
Connected respected
I'll watch you make it throughAnd all this rhetoric
They tell me to sing along
They said that you were dying
But I know that they were wrong

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
