There are at least two artists called Magi. 1) Magi were a tough high energy rock outfit from Northern Indiana in the mid-'70s. They attracted huge crowds whenever they played live. Often compared with Led Zeppelin, this 5-piece band possessed a tight and raw sound that combined in-your-face hard rock with undisguised psychedelic tendencies and lashings of fuzz. The band was well-appreciated for its excellent guitar work, and in the right place and time these guys could have been major. One song is about running out of weed.
