Storms Never Last Lyrics

Storms never last, do they, baby
Bad times all pass with the wind
Your hand in mine stills the thunder
And you make the sun wanna shineYou followed me down so many roads, babe
I picked wild flowers and sung you soft sad songs
And every road we took, Lord knows our search was for the truth
And the clouds brewin' now won't be the lastBut storms never last, do they, baby
Bad times all pass with the wind
Your hand in mine stills the thunder
And you make the sun wanna shineStorms never last, do they, baby
Bad times all pass with the wind
Your hand in mine stills the thunder
And you make the sun wanna shine

Dr. Hook (& The Medicine Show) were formed in Union City, New Jersey, USA in 1968. The original lineup consisted of Ray Sawyer, Dennis Locorierre, Bill Francis, John David and George Cummings - although there were countless lineup changes over the years.

Two years after Sawyer left in 1983 the band split up. Since then Sawyer has begun touring as "Dr Hook featuring Ray Sawyer" and Locorierre has also promoted himself as "The voice of Dr Hook".

Trivia: In a live webcast performance from Atlanta Bon Jovi performed "Sylvia's Mother" by Dr Hook - declaring the song "One we should have written".
