Stormy Monday Lyrics

Call it stormy Monday
But Tuesday's just as bad
Call it stormy Monday
Tuesday's just as bad
Wednesday is worse
And Thursday's all so sad
The eagle flies on Friday
Saturday, I go out to play
Eagle flies on Friday
Saturday, I go out to play
Sunday, I go to church
I get down on my knees and pray
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy, mercy on me
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy, mercy on me
Oh, I'm crazy about my baby
Please send her home to me

Yeah, yeah
Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy, mercy on me
Yeah, Lord have mercy
Lord have mercy on me
Well, I'm crazy about my baby
Please, please send her home

He was one of the most well-documented saxophonists of his generation, recording over 100 albums. He was nicknamed the "Lone Wolf" by jazz critic Dan Morgenstern, in reference to his relentless touring and devotion to jazz. Early life Edward Boatner was born in Boston, Massachusetts[1] and grew up in Saginaw, Michigan.
