Straight Line Lyrics

(3:12)
written by Tony Beard
(c) 1989 Tony Beard Music (ASCAP)Looking around it's plain to see
So many people trying to be
Just what they want and who's to say.
They'll never get there someday.
Walk in a straight line.
Walking in a straight line.
Hard times, walking in a straight line.Always wanting to find your way
True to yourself you've got to stay
Trying so hard, it's not easy I know
Never give up but if you have got to go.
Walk in a straight line.
Walking in a straight line.
Hard times, walking in a straight line. One day at a time is in your mind.
You know that it can come true.
So reach for your dreams and as crazy as it seems
Believing is all you can do, oh!Who's to say if I'm right or wrong.

I know that I've just got to be strong.
Maybe I'll never see that day.
Still I'll fight for it anyway.
Walk in a straight line.
Walking in a straight line.
Hard times, walking in a straight line.Recorded at The Record Plant, Studio I (January 31st `90)Lead Vocals: Graham Nash
Drums and Percussion: Joe Vitale
Bass: Bob Glaub
Keyboards: Craig Doerge

Crosby, Stills & Nash is a pioneering folk/rock supergroup formed by David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash - refugees from three 1960s bands: The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies. The band is primarily known for their three-part vocal harmonies. They are strongly associated with the 1969 Woodstock Festival. They are commonly referred to by their initials CSN.

The trio's first eponymous album was released in May 1969 and was an immediate hit, spawning two Top 40 hit singles and receiving key airplay on the new FM radio format.

In late summer 1969, the trio expanded to a quartet with Neil Young with the name changing to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (commonly referred to by their initials CSNY).
