Strange Form of Life Lyrics

A strange form of life kicking through windows, rolling on yards
Heading in loved ones, triggering odds
A strange oneAnd a hard way to come into a cabin, into the weather
Into a path walking together
A hard oneAnd the softest lips ever, twenty-five years of waiting to kiss them
Smiling and waiting to bend down and kiss twice
The softest lipsAnd a dark little room across the nation, you found myself racing
Forgetting the strange and the hard and the soft kiss
In the dark room

Will Oldham (born 24 December 1970, Louisville, Kentucky) is an American singer-songwriter, actor, and musician. His music is often (perhaps inappropriately) placed under the genre of "alt-country". Oldham has recorded under many names, including Palace, Palace Music, Palace Brothers, and Bonnie Billy. He often plays and records with other musicians, including David Pajo and his brothers Ned and Paul Oldham, but is generally the chief creator of the music.
