Strange Reality Lyrics

Who's this before me?
Dressed in rags, soaked in gin
Just a sign or a warning?
Am I now where he's been?Am I losing my way?
Strange insanity
It's an illusion away
This realityYou know that could be me
Oh yeah
That could be meI wake every morning
I don't know where I've been
All my excuses
Showing strain, wearing thinAm I losing my way?
The strangest insanity
It's an illusion away
This realityThat could be me
Oh yeah
That could be meAnother day, another night
Another drink, another fight

Somehow it's all the same
So I wake in my gin
Never knowing where I've been
Still I play the gameSo strange, so strange
So strange to me
So strange, so strange
Reality, yeahI look to the future
With the eyes of the blind
Can't see much further
Than this haze in my mindAm I losing my way?
The strange insanity
It's an illusion away
This realityYou know
That could be me
Now that could be me
Oh yeahAnother day, another night
Somehow it's all the same
Another drink, another fight
Still I play the gameSo strange, so strange
Reality
So strange, so strange
So strange to meSo strange, so strange
Reality
So strange, so strange
Strange to meI'm losing my way
I'm losing my way
Don't know where I've been
Don't know where I've beenSo strange, so strange
Strange to me
So strange, so strange
Reality

Savatage is a heavy metal/progressive metal band founded by the brothers Jon and Criss Oliva in 1979. The band is known for recording many rock operas. Early on, Savatage was a traditional heavy metal band, who stood out from the pack due to guitarist Criss Oliva's uncommonly heavy riffing and vocalist Jon Oliva's unique vocal stylings. Following the failure of Fight for the Rock, an attempt to commercialize their sound, Savatage began moving in a more operatic direction, releasing a number of rock opera albums in collaboration with producer Paul O'Neill.
