Strangers on a Train Lyrics

You're not listening
at all my words, so lost and found
Both want something new
I take the sky, you keep the groundWe can bend, we can break
We can learn to give and take
Do you have (the) friends to start a war?
What bridge you should've burned?
Givin' a chance to live and learn
Still so much left to exploreWe've been living so fast for so long
Never take it any hits from no one
You got running on (train)
Still running from the place where the sun does
Take a track to the city where our hearts lie
Though our journey's still the same
Just strangers on a trainClose your restless eyes
I've seen no one who fought too much
It's hard to sympathize
when it's not me who's losing touchIs there a joke you need to make?

Is there a smile you need to fake?
You cut so deep, you hit the bone
Is there a flame you need to light?
Is there a neck you need to bite?
Or does it take to guide you home? We've been living so fast for so long
Never take it any hits from no one
You got running on (train)
Still running from the place where the sun does
Take a track to the city where our hearts lie
Though our journey's still the same
Just strangers on a trainIf you got love, hold it high
Hold your heart up in the sky
Let it shine
Let it shineIf you got love, sing it loud
Hold your heart up in the crowd
Let it shine
Let it shineIf you got love, set it free
Hold your heart in front of me
Let it shine
Let it shineIf you got love, hold it high
Hold your heart up in the sky
Let it shine
Let it shine
Just let it shine
Let it shinejust let it shine
just let it shine
let it shine
let it shine
