Streets of Gold Lyrics

It's a beautiful world
There's magic in this life
And a love that never dies
Like New York City lights
The hotter we get the brighter we shineAs we wait our turn
To watch it all burn
You'll never be aloneForever on the streets of gold
Together we'll be on our own
We'll dance till the sky explodes
I'll love you till the end of the worldAnd I will protect you
And I will protect youWhat a beautiful girl
Your daddy raised you right
He worked real hard to give you better than he had
And I'm lucky a guy
And I will protect you and do him rightAs we make our way
Through the fire and rain
You'll never be aloneForever on the streets of gold
Together we'll be on our own

We'll dance till the sky explodes
I'll love you till the end of the worldAnd I will protect you
And I will protect youWell ash to ashes
And I guess dust to dust
Our bodies they get weak and our engines rust
But yours was just a flower in the desert
I'll follow you into this endless nightSo don't close your eyes
Never say goodbye
You'll never be aloneForever on the streets of gold
Together we'll be on our own
We'll dance till the sky explodes
I'll love you till the end of the worldAnd I will protect you
And I will protect youI will protect you
Forever Forever
Forever on the streets of gold

Max

There are eight artists using this name: 1) MAX, which is short for Musical Active eXperience, is a Japanese pop group. Original members Mina, Reina, Lina and Nana formed MAX from their original group SUPER MONKEY'S in 1995 and released their debut single in May of that year. The SUPER MONKEY'S broke up after lead singer Namie Amuro went solo later that same year. The group's original focus was on covers of Italian dance music known as Eurobeat. They became households names in their own right when their third single, "TORA TORA TORA" landed in the top 20.
