Streets of Sin Lyrics

Mighty river, muddy as sin
Troubled waters, Like the shape I'm inWould you open your screen
Let a poor boy in?
If I come back home
Off the streets of sinOff the streets of sin
Off the streets of sin
If I come back home
Would you let me in?If I could hitch a ride, on a DC9
I'd be back home by closin' timeWould you open your screen
Let a poor boy in?
If I come back home
Off the streets of sinOff the streets of sin
Off the streets of sin
If I come back home
Would you let me in?Love, oh, love, can't you hear me moan?
This ramblin' boy ain't got no homeWould you open your screen
Let a poor boy in?
If I come back home

Off the streets of sinOff the Streets of Sin
Off the Streets of Sin
If I come back Home
Would you let me in?Off the streets of sin
Off the streets of sin
If I come back Home
Off the streets of sin?

He knew everything about it. And Butch was from the folk world. I was kinda the rock & roll guy, and we almost had a triad. We hit it off and started playing a lot together.
