Ljótu Hálfvitarnir was formed in the year 2006 by Ármann, Baldur, Bibbi, Eddi, Gummi og Oddur, all famous musicians in Húsavík, Iceland.
The band roots lay back to the year 1986 when Ármann and Toggi started the band Down and Out.
