Stringman Lyrics

There's a man I know who's got a heart so full of joy,
it can make you fly
There's a man I know who's got a soul so full of pain,
it can make you cry
He is a stringman, yes he is
and he talks to you with his music,
he makes love with his music
stringman, stringman, stringman, stringman
There's a man I know who always runs the fastest mile,
but he never wins
And if you ask him of the secret that he's got inside
he just grins
He is a stringman, yes he is
and he talks to you with his music,
he makes love with his music

Then like a moment that has touched you as it passes by,
he is gone
aching for what he's left behind,
he is gone
nowhere to run and he's got no place to hide
He showed me the city nights and the country days,
stringman, stringman
Told me love would come in a thousand ways,
stringman, stringman
He is a stringman, yes he is
and he talks to you with his music,
he makes love with his music
stringman, stringman, stringman, stringman......
