“Times of fear and uncertainty always seem to produce the best art,” explains Twelve Tribes front man Adam Jackson. “Midwest Pandemic is a collection of narratives of those emotions and the underlying apprehension that we feel everyday.”

From the sharp shooter blast and commencing sonic assault of “National Amnesia” to the scornfully anthemic chorus of “Televangelist”, Twelve Tribes reemerges from their Dayton, Ohio homestead with a newfound intensity and a greater sense of urgency. Their distinctive brand of hardcore is thoughtfully driven, but this time Twelve Tribes marches into the square waving their flag of opposition—turning their organic sound into an all out public execution.

Twelve Tribes followed the release of their Ferret Records debut, 2004’s The Rebirth Of Tragedy, with relentless touring. They shared the stage over the past 3 years with bands like Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage, Soulfly, Machine Head, Zao and It Dies Today. It was the tour overseas in 2005 with Killswitch Engage (which sold out every venue before the bands stepped foot on European soil) that set the band up for what would be a very successful year across the pond. Twelve Tribes returned overseas two more times with 36 Crazyfists and then with their label mates Every Time I Die and A Life Once Lost.
