Stupid Love Games - Celeste Buckingham

Celeste was born on May 3rd, 1995. The 19 year old speaks four languages and is a truly international person (born in Zurich Switzerland from a Swiss mother and an American father, and grandparents from Ireland, England, Russia, and Iran). Celeste has a younger sister, Carmel, who was born in Anchorage Alaska right before they moved to Bratislava, Slovakia. Her family spends part of the time in Maine, USA.

Celeste started with music at an early age. She started humming songs and copying lyrics before she could speak properly. At age 3, she walked on stage at a performance, stopped the musicians and asked them for the microphone and demanded that the band played with her.


She officially started writing songs when she was twelve (one of the first songs was Blue Guitar) and has written a number of songs since.

"It’s really rewarding to see how life changes when you get closer to achieving your goals," says the international singer. " You stay the same, and yet you change, you grow as a person. There are risks to take and mistakes to make. But getting to my goal, where people listen to my music and like it, it’s the greatest risk worth taking. It’s extremely satisfying to create music that people like, and to share that positive vibe."
