Suburbia Lyrics

You drive in to work each day
Wondering if it's worth the pay
There's got to be a better way in suburbia
And as your stocks and bonds mature
How come you feel so insecure
God will they ever find a cure in suburbia?Suburbia, keep the charcoal burning
Suburbia, as the world keeps turning
Suburbia, watch the years escaping
Still you sit there waiting in suburbia.
I can't explain my ups and downs
They say something's going 'round
Hypoglysemia abounds in suburbia
There's change in my anatomy
That's affecting my ability
God what will happen next to me in suburbia.Suburbia, keep the charcoal burning
Suburbia, as the world keeps turning
Suburbia, watch the years escaping
Still you sit there waiting in suburbia. Will someone come and rescue me

From all this mediocrity
To what I see on my TV
In Suburbia, keep the charcoal burning
Suburbia, as the world keeps turning
Watch the years escaping
Still you sit there waiting in suburbia.
Suburbia, you can keep the charcoal burning
Suburbia, as the world keeps turning
Suburbia, you can watch the years escaping
As you sit there waiting in suburbia...
