Subway Lyrics

Take me to the subway
Ooh, take me to the subwayIt ain't far away, but the night is mine, like it fine, gonna stay
See you in the morning
Gotta rush, get a bus, make a fuss
Gimme some loving in the morningOoh, she makes me feel so good
Instant reaction and ready for love
I got no work, no sweat, no strain
I got to make it to the midnight trainSo take me to the subway
Ooh, take me to the subwayOoh, city life is bittersweet
I don't care, take me there on the street, freedom in the city
Gotta ride, goin' down underground, watch me slide
Loving in the cityOoh, she makes me so complete
Heavy in love and light on my feet
I got no work, no sweat, no strain
I got to make it to the midnight trainSo take me to the subway
Ooh, take me to the subwayOoh, ain't it far away, but the night is mine, like it fine, gonna stay
See you in the morning
Gotta rush, get a bus, make a fuss

Gimme some loving in the morningOoh, she makes me feel so good
Instant reaction and ready for love
I got no work, no sweat, no strain
I got to make it to the midnight trainTake me to the subway
Ooh, take me to the subway

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
