Sugar Never Tasted So Good Lyrics

Sugar never tasted so good
Sugar never tasted so good
Sugar never tasted good to me
YeahUntil her eyes crossed over
Until her mind crossed over
Until her soul fell next to meNow
If the wrinkle that is in your brain
Has given you quite a steam
Your fingers have become a crane
Pulling on these puppet stringsYeahWhat a feeling that's begun
What a feeling that's begunWhat a feeling that's begun
What a feeling that's begunI felt just like a baby
Until I held a baby
What a mood this boy can beYeahAnd her thougths like a daisy
How my mind gets lazy
I must've been crazy not to seeAlrightIf the wrinkle that is in your brain
Has given you quite a steam
Your fingers have become a crane

Your fingers have become a crane
Your fingers have become a crane
Pulling on these puppet stringsWater never tasted so good
Water never tasted so good
Water never tasted good to me

The White Stripes were an alternative rock band, formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. They disbanded in 2011. The group consisted of songwriter Jack White (vocals, piano/keyboards, guitar) and Meg White (drums, vocals). After releasing several singles and three albums within the Detroit independent music underground, The White Stripes rose to prominence in 2002, as part of the garage rock revival scene. Their successful albums White Blood Cells and Elephant drew them attention from a large variety of media outlets in the United States and the United Kingdom.
