Summer Song Lyrics

I know I don't
I don't believe
In old promises
Just want you back againI know I wrote
This longing for you
Is strong throughout the land
Won't you listen toMy summer song
How long, how long, how long?
I try to say what I mean
'Cause I mean to stayI try to stay where I been
'Cause I been where I stay
Oh! Listen to
My summer songHow long, how long, how long?
I know the stake's been made
Even though I changed my ways
You'd better hear my voice'Cause I've made my choice
Honey you be on my ways
Ah! Listen to my summer song

How long, how long, how long?Try to say what I mean
'Cause I mean what I say
Yeah I try to stay where I been
'Cause I been where I staySo won't you listen to my summer song
How long, how long, how long?
