Summer Lyrics

So I said, I said, "What's your name
And where'd you wanna go from here?"
She gave me a little grin
And it went from ear to earShe said, "This feels right
Everything tonight"
Forget the breath of the rest of the room
They'll flog themselves to death
And we'll be under the moonI don't have to go
I could always stay
In this embrace forever
Or at least one more day
One more daySo I said, I said, "Where do you belong?"
I saw that little twinkle in her eye
She pulled me up and said "Dance to this song"
I said, "Now, this feels right
Everything tonight
Forget the eyes of the monsters green
A collection of critters cutting a desperate scene"I don't have to go

I could always stay
In this embrace forever
We're not listening anywayI don't have to go
I would like to stay
In this embrace forever
Or at least one more day
One more dayAnd I, I don't have to go
I could always stay
In this embrace forever
We're not listening anywayI don't have to go
I would like to stay
In this embrace forever
Or at least one more day
One more day

The Courteeners are a British indie rock band formed in Manchester, in 2006 by Liam Fray (guitar/vocals), Michael Campbell (drums/backing vocals), Daniel Conan Moores (Guitar), and Mark Cuppello (bass). Whilst studying at the University of Salford, Liam Fray started to perform acoustic sets as a singer-songwriter around Manchester. After getting positive reactions from the crowd, Fray decided to leave University and form a band. He recruited long time friend Michael Campbell. At that time, Campbell had never played the drums in his life.
