Differnet is a Swedish quartet that started with the new millennium that contsists of Tomas Bóden on sound, Digital Signal Processing and electronics, Peter Jackson on guitar, melodica, harmonium, harmonica, trumpet, Cubase, Anna-Karin Brus on vocals and visuals, and Magnus Gyllenswärd on bass and Ableton. As with many groups of the century's first decade, Differnet's approach was an exploration of the ground between restrained, low-key indie rock and electronic approaches derived from Warp Records and similarly experimental techno labels and performers.
