Sunlight Moon Lyrics

I would try most anything
While I stand here lingering
Have a couple of songs to sing
To take your mind awayPromises of treats I bring
I'd give you most anything
Doesn't change anything
You're going awayJust goin', goin', gone away again
Here today, gone tomorrow
Little ones can't hide their sorrow
Goin', goin', gone away againSee you holding back a tear
The moment when I disappear
You look and look until it's clear
He's gone through a long timeYou say don't make a special trip here
Please don't because I fear
One of my new friends
Might just spy a tear
Goin', goin' awayI'm just goin', goin', gone away away again
Here today, gone tomorrow

Little ones can't hide their sorrow
That's enough places, Dad
Can't you see from our faces, Dad?
Just goin', goin', gone awayGone away
I just goin', goin', gone away againIf you see a sunlight moon
Know that I can see it too
Know that I am with you
Promise I'll be home soonI'm kind of glad that you miss me
Sort of hope you keep insisting
