Sunrise, Sunset Lyrics

I'll always have a sunrise
I'll always have a sunset
I'll always have the ocean
to help deal with these emotions
and there'll always be a highway
that's running through the desert
in southern californiabut all i really want is you
all i really want is you (x3)you'll always have your sunrise
you'll always have your sunset
and i know you need some time alone
even though it's selfish
i pray to god you keep in mind
this broken heart you left behind
in southern californiabut all i really want is you
all i really want is you (x3)there'll always be a hole in my
heart that's shaped just like you
and there'll always be an empty space
in everything that i do

but i'll always have this voice that i can sing until the day i die
in southern californiabut all i really want is you
all i really want is you (x3)i'll always have a sunrise
i'll always have a sunset
i'll always have the ocean
to help deal with these emotions
i'll always have this force that i
can sing until the day i die
in southern california

Matt Monro (December 1, 1930 (or 1932, say some sources) - February 7, 1985) was a ballad singer of the 1960s and one of great international postwar entertainers. Throughout his 30-year career he filled cabarets, nightclubs, music halls and stadiums across the globe, from Australia, Japan, the Philippines, and Hong Kong to Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. He sold more than 25 million records during his lifetime (most of those sales however didn't come until after his death), imbuing each one with his elegant blend of majesty, sincerity, and superior technique.
