Sunset Blvd (Alternate Mix) Lyrics

Brian left back home
To sing the world his song, they said he'd never go
Going down a rusty road
Jimi Hendrix playing on the radio
He just wants to fly away
And show the world he'll be a star
He's driving all night and day
For the chance to play his worn out guitarHe never knew of the hopes he made
Until four thousand people stood and prayedCHORUS
Down on Sunset Blvd.
We can leave it all behind
And if we could walk away
Sunset Blvd.Well he took what he could get
Always dreamed of playing at the Hollywood
Now every Friday night
You'd see him killing time the best way he knows how
Now he's gonna fly and no one's gonna stop him now
See him up so high, no one's gonna bring him down, downHe never knew of the hopes he made

Until forty thousand people stood and praisedCHORUSYou know you wanna stay there
You know you wanna play there
You know you've heard a love song, yes you did
You wanna be a big star
You wanna have it allCHORUS
Down on...down on...
And once we could walk away
Sunset Blvd.

Scott Richard Grimes was born July 9th, 1971 in Massachusetts. He got his start in television with a recurring character of Alyssa Milano's love interest on Who's The Boss, and then went on to do his first album in 1989 with then A&M Records. On this album were many popular 80s song covers, such as John Farnham's Your The Voice.

Scott played several roles on TV thereafter, such as in Party of Five and Band of Brothers as well as in films like Critters and Dreamkeeper.

Scott is now known as Doctor Archie Morris on the hit TV show ER. Using this role as a spring board to get back to the music scene, he released the album Livin' On The Run in 2005 and the debut single Sunset Blvd. made it to Billboard's Top 20 Adult Contemporary chart in April of 2005. Scott co-wrote Sunset Blvd. with his friend, Dave Harris, who is an American radio disc jockey on Retro rewind. Read more on Last.fm.
