Superstar Lyrics

You've been looking for more, I've been over my head
You've been filling up spaces, I'm working too much
(I, I, I)
It's the life we're living now
(I, I, I)
And it's beautiful, somehowI've been waiting for the sun to rise where you are
So I can tell you you're a superstar
I've been waiting for our words to be in line
So I can let you know that baby, you're the rest of my lifeYou have loved, you have cared, you've been too good to me
I can't try hard enough just to make you believe
(I, I, I)
We've been holding on to us
(I, I, I)
Cause we need it way too muchI've been waiting for the sun to rise where you are
So I can tell you you're a superstar
I've been waiting for our words to be in line
So I can let you know that baby, you're the rest of my lifeI've been dreaming of a future that looks like our past
And they'll admire that we made it last

So I've been waiting for the sun to rise where you are
So I can tell you you're a superstarYou know I think about it all the time
You would run away with me
And we'd go looking for a place to hide
And you would be at home with me
You would be at home with me
We would be at homeI've been waiting for the sun to rise where you are
So I can tell you you're a superstar
I've been waiting for our words to be in line
So I can let you know that baby, you're the rest of my lifeI've been dreaming of a future that looks like our past
And they'll admire that we made it last
So I've been waiting for the sun to rise where you are
So I can tell you you're a superstar(I, I, I)
It's the life we're living now
