Suspicion Lyrics

I don't need suspicion in my life
Yeah,yeah,yeah
Alright
Tell me baby,what's going on
I used to think you'd never do me wrong
The way you're acting,i just don't know
What happened to the trust, you used to show
And what's the point in asking where I've been
Cause when I tell you,you ain't listening
I don't need suspicion in my life
All you wanna do is control
I don't need permission to live my life
I just want your love,i don't wanna be owned
I tell you baby, times have changed
I used to think I'd never feel this way
Yes I'm yours but I won't be owned
I just want to feel the love I used to know
And what's the point in asking who I'm with

Cause,when I tell you,you ain't listening
I don't need suspicion in my life(oh baby)
All you wanna do is control
I don't need permission to live my life
I just want your love,i don't wanna be owned
Alright
You(you) don't own(you don't own me baby)
You(you) don't own(own)
You don't own
You will never own be baby(baby just to freak of me)
I don't need suspicion in my life
All you wanna do is control(oh baby)
I don't need permission to live my life
I don't wanna be owned
You don't own(you don't own)
You don't own(own me baby)
You don't own
I don't need suspicion in my life

Ikue Mori moved from her native city of Tokyo to New York in 1977. She started playing drums and soon joined the seminal no wave band DNA, with fellow noise pioneers Arto Lindsay and Tim Wright. DNA enjoyed legendary cult status, while creating a new brand of radical rhythms and dissonant sounds; forever altering the face of rock music. In the mid 80’s Ikue started in employ drum machines in the unlikely context of improvised music. While limited to the standard technology provided by the drum machine, she has never the less forged her own highly sensitive signature style.
