The breakout moment for Jasper James came almost a year after the release (Nov 2008, Crispin Thump) of her solo debut album 'Viibrator' when the opening song "It's On" was picked up by Kia Motors for a national commercial sponsoring the NBA 2009/2010 season. Born in Las Vegas and transposed to New York city, this CMJ/SXSW alumni has opened for musical icons such as Debbie Harry, Electro-Pop Goddess Peaches, DJ Johnny Juice of Public Enemy as well as Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl).
