Sweet Catatonia Lyrics

Chance dreams that cut across the bed
Leaving colors there instead
See lines that draw it to an end but ignore them
And if I say how I feel again, is it wise to do it?Or like hearing for the umpteenth time
A song you despise
Dont you fall asleep
Theres lots of things I need to say that just wont keepSweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Catatonia
I should have told ya
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Catatonia
I should have told yaAnd with my fears in the back of my mind
Will they gang up on me?
And when I least expect them to will they devour me?Dont you turn aside
Your tired ears must hear me out
Theres nowhere to hideSweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Catatonia
I should have told ya
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Catatonia
I should have told yaDon't you turn aside
Your tired ears must hear me out

There's nowhere to hideSweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Catatonia
I should have told ya
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Catatonia
I should have told yaSweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Catatonia
I should have told ya
(And with my fears in the back of my mind, will they gang up on me?)
Sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet Catatonia
I should have told ya
(And when I least expect them to, will they devour me?)

Catatonia were an alternative rock band from Cardiff, Wales formed in 1992. They consisted of Cerys Matthews (vocals), Mark Roberts (guitar), Owen Powell (guitar), Paul Jones (bass) and Aled Richards (drums). They split in 2001. Catatonia was formed in 1992, reputedly after songwriter Mark Roberts heard Cerys busking in Cardiff city centre. They had considerable success, their most famous hits being "Mulder and Scully", "Road Rage" and "Dead From The Waist Down". In September 2001, Cerys announced her departure from Catatonia after bouts of exhaustion and anxiety.
