Sweetheart Lyrics

If your heart tells you so that you should leave me
Don't try to forget, you and I never met
And before you fly, one kiss should tell me why
You've forgotten all the words that you once saidLong as I've got you there beside me
As long as you're there to stand and guide me
The love we share, no one can ever tear apartLong as I've got this life, I'm living
Long as it's you, the love I'm with
Then, I'll keep on calling you sweetheartIf my love for you can't make you happy
Just open the door and you won't see me anymoreAnd before you fly, one kiss should tell me why
You've forgotten all the words that you once said
When you saidLong as I've got you there beside me
Long as you're there to stand and guide me
The love we share, no one could ever tear apartLong as I've got this life I'm living
Long as it's you, the love I'm with
Then I'll keep on calling you sweetheart
And I'll keep on calling you sweetheart

The Bee Gees, originally made up of three brothers: Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb (died 2012), and Maurice Gibb (died 2003), have been successful for most of their 40-plus years of recording music. They had two distinct periods of exceptional success: as a pop act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and as a foremost act of the disco music era in the late 1970s. The Gibb brothers were born on the Isle of Man, UK to English parents in 1946 (Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, September 1) and 1949 ( twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice (pronounced "Morris") Ernest Gibb, December 22).
